‘Our motivation and drive are inspired by our love for the work that we do, but also by our close friend Andy Breeze who tragically lost his fight with cancer in the summer of 2016. Andy was a much-admired deal maker, an absolute gentleman and a wonderfully talented colleague. We do so miss him, and it is in his memory – and as a legacy to him – that we have chosen to have his name above our door’.

In 2023 we delivered a cumulative deal value that exceeded £250m, by way of 14 Completions. In 2024 we have delivered an improved year of financial results and progress.
For 2025, benefitting from a strong and engaged pipeline of new assignments, we can be equally confident of achieving another year of investment in our resources and facilities.
Inside the business we are continuing the implementation of a strategically dynamic business model focused on delivering infinite and sustainable value for all we work with. Essentially, we are already building in our own Succession Plan.

A warm welcome to our new website
This is my very first Quarterly Report, allowing the opportunity to share reflections on the M&A world, our year, and moreover look ahead to 2025.
Boy, what a rush of deal completions ahead of the Budget! The stats have been incredible, with many fearing significant hikes in CGT which in the end were more modest and will allow our Entrepreneurs to stay focused on where the best home for their business is, rather than being driven by tax changes.
We’ve been expanding the team, welcoming Sophie, Geraint, and Mark in the latter stages of 2024, whilst continuing to invest in our tech-stack and Breeze House to ensure we have the very best place to work (we will always be in the office every day).
Most importantly there have been plenty of smiles as we have delivered our deals, collected some notable Dealmakers Awards, and found time to support our charities.
As we look into 2025 we have our most significant level of engagements to deliver, which is very reassuring. Our clients are seeking the very best of homes for their businesses and, whilst we will not shout about those achievements, we are so proud to be by their side.
